Every home presents its own design opportunity and this villa was conceived as a sophisticated family residence where everyday living and formal entertaining exist in equal measure.
The ground floor is shaped by expressive materials and sculptural lighting. Green marble frames the arrival, while a fabric-lined powder room introduces a more intimate mood. At either end of the plan, formal reception rooms are layered with warm finishes, silk rugs, bespoke furnishings and carefully selected Italian pieces. Suspended within the twin double-height volumes, crystal chandeliers become architectural focal points, defining the scale and character of each space.
The kitchen continues this language through moss-green Italian cabinetry and a softly luminous quartz worktop, forming a natural extension of the home’s entertaining spaces. The same attention was carried beyond the principal rooms, with the staff quarters, ironing room, and driver’s accommodation designed with equal care and consideration.
The first floor shifts towards a more private expression of the home. Individually tailored bedrooms reflect the personalities of their occupants, while bespoke wooden joinery conceals generous storage behind continuous wall panelling that extends throughout the circulation spaces.
The master suite demanded the most rigorous planning. Within a compact footprint, the layout accommodates separate dressing rooms for him and her while preserving a sense of openness within the bedroom. Fabric-lined walls in muted earthy tones soften the architecture, while a sculptural chandelier and decorative wall sconces create a layered lighting composition that enriches the material palette throughout the day.
This project remains one of our most rewarding, demonstrating how thoughtful planning, material integrity and craftsmanship can shape a home that is both enduring and deeply personal.
